For You

Diwali Celebration Monday, October 7th!

The Corporate Diwali - An event planning service that specializes in global Diwali events, would like to collaborate with MSELC to help promote Diwali, the hindu festival of lights, as an international global festival like Christmas, Chinese New Year, Hanukkah, etc.

They have already partnered with many local and New York schools to provide onsite custom Diwali celebrations with story time, crafts, music and dance, and videos.

This free celebration, taking place Monday October 7, also provides the children with festive favor kits that are handmade by children in India and the kits are available for purchase. They consist of jewelry, story books, stickers and greeting cards. Each festive kit is $3 and all sales are donated to the street children in India. We will be collecting the donations now through Monday, October 7

If you would like to donate and bring this celebration to MSELC, we encourage you to leave donations with the office staff. These donations will provide our school children with their festive kits and help the children of India at the same time.
